The Immersive Storytelling Studio is a collaborative space for creating, experiencing, and evaluating immersive and interactive narratives.
It is equipped with virtual reality headsets and game-development software. The studio enables students, faculty, artists, and community partners to develop story worlds that audiences can enter, explore, and influence.
The studio supports immersive storytelling, extended reality, interactive media, game design, teaching, creative production, community co-creation, and immersive media research.

It also provides an experimental environment where participants can transform ideas into prototypes, test new forms of audience engagement, and explore how emerging technologies can support meaningful and culturally responsive storytelling.
As part of the G.A.M.E. Lab in collaboration with the CEDST Lab, the studio prioritizes ethical design, accessibility, cultural representation, and community authority over stories. Beyond being a room for experiencing virtual reality, it is also a creative space where communities, researchers, students, and artists work together to imagine and build more inclusive and immersive digital futures.
